After intense consideration between the available e-drums out there, I have finally ended buying this set. I'm not a drummer, just a dad who wants to start learning and to give my son a proper kit so he can learn even more.
What is important to me is: how silent the e-drum is? I lived in an apartment, in Germany, where the neighbors are friendly as long as you are quiet. This kit is quiet enough. Imagine you hit your bed with your hand, that's how the sound it is. You need to understand that the low frequency wave travel further and this actually will never come from your drum set but from the foot pedal. Roland has a solution for that, you might want to consider.
The setup is quite tedious, will take roughly 90 minutes. Everything is intuitive on the control box. You don't need to read the manual too much just to get it running. The sound is almost realistic and the naturality of each step from soft to hard hit, is a bit harsh in my opinion. But at least my son, who knows how to drum, really liked it.
The build quality is superb. Everything is perfect fit with high quality material. Even the plastic part is durable. The cabling is a bit headache to make it tidy, but you can always use the given cable clam or use the market available ones.
Conclusion: if you have enough budget and thinking about investment where you will use the instrument for a long time and still have a good after sales in the next 5 years, this might be a good choice.

Ich spiele das Set jetzt seit 8 Monaten in jeder freien Minute, fast jeden Tag.
Die Verarbeitung ist super, alles lässt sich leicht aufbauen und einstellen. Bisher ist nichts im Ansatz verschlissen oder defekt.
Der Klang ist wirklich super. Die Meshheads spielen sich wie auf einem Akustikset. Es erkennt extrem präzise wie hart oder soft ihr trefft. Nichts daran fühlt sich elektronisch an! Solange ihr ein Headset tragt, werdet ihr es nicht merken!
Doubles/Wirbel/ Flams sind alles problemlos auf jedem meshhead möglich.
Es ist relativ leise, aber bei weitem nicht lautlos. Damit solltet ihr euch unbedingt VOR dem Kauf befassen.
Die Aufnahmefunktion und das Metronom sind super. Alles ist sehr leicht einstellbar und intuitiv zu bedienen. Man kann super easy Musik und Drums oder nur Drums aufnehmen.
Das Feedbacklose HiHat-Pedal ist am Anfang sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Mittlerweile mag ich es. Das hat gute 3 Monate gedauert.
Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Was ich nach 8 Monaten bemängeln würde/gern vorher gewusst hätte:
-Keine Bell-Hitbox auf Ride/Crashbecken. Das schränkt etwas ein, wenn man in Funk/Jazz/Swing geht.
-die Rims lassen sich nicht getrennt von dem Sound der Toms/Snare programmieren. (Zb normaler Snare Sound- elektrischer Rim Sound)
-die Erweiterbarkeit ist relativ gering. Wahrscheinlich werde ich es irgendwann verkaufen und auf ein High End Gerät umsteigen. Aber bis dahin hat es sich definitiv gelohnt. Und bis dahin vergeht definitiv noch Zeit.
Fazit: klare Kaufempfehlung wenn das euer Budget ist. Für das Geld habe ich ehrlich gesagt viel weniger erwartet.
Alles was wichtig ist, übertraf meine Erwartungen um Längen.

Tenho tocado o set em todos os minutos livres, quase todos os dias, há 8 meses. O acabamento é ótimo, tudo é fácil de configurar e ajustar. Até agora nada está remotamente desgastado ou com defeito. O som é realmente ótimo. Os Meshheads tocam como se estivessem tocando em um set acústico. Ele detecta com extrema precisão o quão forte ou suave você bate. Nada sobre isso parece eletrônico! Contanto que você use um fone de ouvido, você não notará! Duplas/redemoinhos/flams são facilmente possíveis em qualquer meshhead. É relativamente silencioso, mas longe de ser silencioso. Definitivamente, você deve considerar isso ANTES de comprar. A função de gravação e o metrônomo são ótimos. Tudo é muito fácil de ajustar e intuitivo de usar. Você pode facilmente gravar música e bateria ou apenas bateria. O pedal de chimbal sem feedback leva muito tempo para se acostumar no início. Eu gosto disso agora. Isso levou uns bons 3 meses. O preço é absolutamente justificado. O que eu reclamaria depois de 8 meses/gostaria de ter sabido de antemão: -Não há hitbox de latido nos pratos de passeio/crash. Isso é um pouco limitante quando você entra no funk/jazz/swing. -Os aros não podem ser programados separadamente do som dos tons/caixa. (Por exemplo, som de caixa normal - som de aro elétrico) - a capacidade de expansão é relativamente baixa. Provavelmente irei vendê-lo em algum momento e atualizar para um dispositivo de última geração. Mas até então definitivamente valeu a pena. E definitivamente ainda haverá tempo até então. Conclusão: recomendação de compra clara se esse for o seu orçamento. Para ser sincero, esperava muito menos pelo dinheiro. Tudo o que importa superou em muito as minhas expectativas. A sensação do jogo é indescritivelmente real.

Roland, excellente marque. J'ai acheté la TD-17KV2, j'en suis très satisfait. Peut-être un bémol la charley mais ça je ne peux que me prendre à moi-même, j'aurais dû me tourner vers la KX. Je pense, qu'à terme, je vais me tourner vers le VH10 et son stand. A noter aussi l'excellent service chez Thomann
Roland, excelente marca. Comprei o TD-17KV2, estou muito satisfeito com ele. Talvez uma desvantagem do chimbal, mas só posso me culpar por isso, deveria ter recorrido ao KX. Acho que, eventualmente, irei recorrer ao VH10 e seu estande. Observe também o excelente serviço da Thomann
