Quality dual mode Overdrive

Using already the GAS 789 from Rodenberg, I couldnt pass on this new Lukather-inspired product! A dual mode overdrive, taken from the 2 dirty channels of the SL OD. Very classy sounds, defined, detailed, expressive. Especially with the 18V option, really opening the pedal up and adding even more definition and headroom to already excellent sounds. Low gain is great for crunch, edge of breakup up until expressive dynamic solo or juicy rhithm tone. High gain usable across the whole range and both modes react very well with the volume pot of the guitar, which is essential for me. Quality overdrive, covers a lot of sonic ground at a great price. Not just for Lukather's fans. Better than many ODs from some major brands, costing often much more. No hype here, just quality grown up tones. Always swiftly delivered and carefully packaged by Thomann.

Can’t fault it, although unfortunately I still can’t play like Luke.

Ich bin schon seit längerem Fan der Rodenberg Pedale, da sie den Sound (egal in welcher Einstellung) immer „aufwerten“.
Als die neuen Rodenberg Pedale gelauncht wurden, habe ich mir zuerst das SL-OD geholt und war vom Sound total begeistert. Jedoch benötige ich die Boost Funktion nicht und auf meinem Board stellte sich ein Platzproblem ein :).
Somit habe ich dann noch den „Luke“ geordert. Der Sound und die Verarbeitungsqualität sind wie beim großen Buder exzellent.
Ich nutze den Luke vor einem cleanen, leicht angecrunchten Victory V40 Deluxe. Meistens nutze ich den Luke "andicken" im "low" Modus. Der „high“ Modus ist ideal für satte Lead-Sounds.
Im Vergleich mit vielen anderen Overdrives schneidet der Luke für mich sehr gut ab, da er immer natürlich klingt, dem Ton aber auch eine gewisse „dreidimensionalität“ verleiht. In beiden Settings (low und high) überzeugt der Rodenberg mit sattem Sound, ohne Matsch und giftigen Höhen.
Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Overdrive con sus tres controles nivel, tono y Gain. Pero ademas de estos tiene dos tipo de ganancias High y low, y un plus de bass. Esto es lo que le da al pedal esa diferencia de otros overdrive. Me encanta el sonido que da y la construcción muy bien hecho. Muy contento con la compra.
