The SLO tones in a pedal

I have a Soldano SLO 100 in the Snake Skin finish which I obviously love. One of the amazing things about the SLO is the Crunch channel which offers a huge amount of tone dialling from rich full cleans to crunchy lead tones that ring with great clarity. The lead channel is just amazing as expected. I also have the normal SLO Overdrive pedal and this one just completes the whole pedal thing that can do the SLO tones very well.
This pedal renders dynamic tones and it responds well to the volume pot and touch. So, if you want to get that tone at gigs that don't require taking your precious SLO out on the road or you simply want to access the Soldano sound at a fraction of the price, this is the way to go. Get them while they are still available. Great stuff from Soldano.

A truly fantastic pedal. The build quality is top marks and the sound quality is quite remarkable. Very responsive pedal. I particularly like the normal channel as the touch sensitivity of this channel is very engaging to play. The high gain is also very good.

Lo uso principalmente o i suoni crunch, ma anche con i distorti, quando servono è fantastico. Se suoni come lo SLO 100 non lo so, ma suona davvero bene, questo si!

Obwohl, oder gerade weil ich schon das SLO-Pedal besitze und ich total happy damit bin, habe ich mir das neue SLO Plus-Pedal zugelegt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Den normal-/crunch-channel schätze ich besonders, da er sehr offen, artikuliert und definiert klingt sowie sehr sensibel auf Anschlagsdynamik und die Steuerung mittels Volume-Potis (vor allem PRS-Gitarren) reagiert. Ich hatte zwar erst einmal die Gelegenheit einen SLO 30 zu testen, aber soweit ich mich erinnere kommt das Pedal dem Amp schon recht nahe - ersetzen kann ein Pedal "the real thing" natürlich nicht, aber es macht riesig Spaß und ich verwende es täglich. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und bietet ausreichend Möglichkeit zur Tonformung, Qualitätsanmutung und Optik sind ebenfalls stimmig. Für mich jedenfalls macht das SLO Plus-Pedal Appetit auf mehr!
