Great Plexi

I own a Marshall from 1990, and bought the pedal to replace the gain channel of the amp when I'm playing without it.
This pedal is real close to the original amp sound. A great job by Wampler in a very convenient size.
Only minor point are the bass and mid switches that are hard to operate with large fingers.

High Hopes for Plexi tones

I was super excited to get this pedal and loved the look and the demos online sounded amazing. But, did it live up to expectations ... nope I went back to my Xotic SL Drive after i gigged it through 2 different amps and i just was not feeling it at all. I really wanted to love it but just didn't. amps were my Mesa Boogie Lonestar and my Marshall Bluesbreaker

The pedal sounds amazing! Put it with a transparent platform and it sound just like a Marshall. And if you don't want it for that, the overdrive sound is amazing and very dynamic!
The only downside is that the switches are a bit hard to switch if you have big fingers.

Wampler can't miss

Sounds incredible and can handle a lot of gain while still sounding articulate and dynamic. The bass/mid switches give you something closer to a 3 band eq which makes it amazingly versatile for such a small pedal. Build quality is second to none as always. I'm using this and the Triumph together and I just can not recommend Wampler enough.
