Cheap and effective

Big unit for 300w Fresnel, but it works well. If the lens was nearer the front of the lantern it could achieve a wider throw.

Good Basic Lantern

Bought 4 of these as bundles (with lamp and barn doors) - which was much cheaper than buying individually. The Fresnel was not quite as bright as expected but was easy to setup and install. They have a easy mechanism for moving the lamp backwards and forwards using a kind of screw thread which you turn via a know at the back for focusing.

The only problem encountered so far is that the building they have been installed in has very sensitive ion smoke detectors which set off the fire alarms after all 4 were left on maximum brightness of about 25 minutes! I think this is probably due to them being new as there were no visible issues. Hopefully that will not continue to be the case over time.

Other than that they are a good basic lantern.

Great lighting for small room

Great spotlights for a small room. We use 12 of these in the chamber theater.

Absolut in Ordnung

Die Fresnels machen, was sie sollen und sind dabei ganz gut zu handhaben. Schnell einen Stecker dran geschraubt und das entsprechende Leuchtmittel eingesetzt (ich verwende die 500W Variante) und man kann kleine Bühnen, Buffettische oder auch Ausstellungsstücke absolut zufriedenstellend ausleuchten.
Ein Muss hierbei ist natürlich die Anschaffung und Benutzung der entsprechenden Torblenden.
Habe die Anschaffung von vier dieser Lampen bislang nicht bereut.
