I recently invested in the Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Duo Gen2 Ess+ and have been very impressed with its performance in my studio. Its exceptional AD/DA converters and Unison preamps deliver pristine sound quality, while the onboard UAD DSP provides near-zero latency monitoring with high-quality plug-ins. The device is very user friendly, making setup and daily use straightforward.

I had already purchased the plug-ins that came with the device, but when I reached out to UAD support, they kindly offered me new plug-ins as replacements. Their helpful and understanding service really added extra value to my experience.

Pros:
• Exceptional audio quality with top-notch converters and Unison preamps
• Real-time UAD DSP processing for low-latency monitoring
• Compact, robust design ideal for home studios
• User friendly with excellent customer support
• Replacement plug-ins offered by support, adding extra value

Cons:
• Premium price tag
• Limited I/O (only two mic preamps) may not suit larger recording setups

Wer das kauft - ob pro oder bedroom producer - macht in 99% der Fälle nichts falsch. Ich halte die Audioqualität sowie die Funktionalität für sehr gut umgesetzt und designed. Wer kein Outboard benutzt benötigt keine extra Inputs und damit auch keines der größeren Geräte

Die Console Software funktioniert meistens tadellos. Verglichen mit den RME Treibern ist sie etwas anfällig, das wird den meisten im Alltag aber kaum auffallen. Ich finde die Preamp Emulationen ok, ich rate da auch jedem zumindest nach ein paar jähren einmal einen echten preamp anzuschaffen, da dass wirklich jeden song aufwertet.

Einziges Manko: UA bewirbt das Gerät mit Software die man dann dazukaufen muss. Die Software ist gut, allerdings auch recht teuer. Um das Gerät wirklich voll auszuschöpfen sollte man noch Budget für die Software einplanen.

Ich empfehle bei Kernaspekten des Studios eher etwas mehr auszugeben. Eine gute Soundkarte gehört definitiv zu den ersten wichtigen Anschaffungen, die auch in ein paar Jahren noch spass bringen sollte...

tengo un problema con el código de activación de iLok

Hace unos días recibí esta tarjeta y se supone que en la caja debería haber sido incluido un código de activación para lo plugins en el ilok License Manager que dicen incluir si realizas la compra de la tarjeta entre los días 15 y 31 de diciembre, pero no encuentro ese código y me gustaría saber donde esta y si me pueden proporcionar un código para la activación de dichos plugins, en cuenta de iLok.
