For what it is designed it does the job well. Solidly built, it's padded on the inside to fit the dimensions of Helix LT so it does not move and tumble, it has rooms for cables etc. and there are four "legs" on the bottom side. The legs alone, not the weight of the whole thing (case+helix = 13.5 kg), is really solid and has high friction coefficient so the thing is not sliding on the floor when you press buttons in the heat of the action, dancing arround etc.

The case is somewhat heavy even without the Helix unit inside and closing the latches is a matter of skill that comes with time. It has to sit perfectly to close and you need to 'feel' when the hook of the mechanism is in the correct place to close. Those would be the "negatives".

Overall I am very pleased with the product and the service.

Solid case but rather heavy

Built like a tank .... and heavy like a tank. But, it very well protects my Helix so I'm very happy with it.

Now here's the downside. In vertical position with the handle up (there's other way actually) the Helix " rests" on some of the foam internals inside the case. After some months I started to notice that this foam starts to compress a little bit so that the Helix is a little looser inside case. Still very safe, but I may need to replace the foam alltogether or fill it up over time.

Good Concept, small things to improve

The product is solid and resistant, locks are stable.
Small tips:
I would increase a little bit the space for the cables and I would create a bigger and more comfortable grip to grasp, the one in stock is small and hard and since the product has a fair weight it can give slight discomfort handling it in long transport

Does its job

I have this case for nearly 6 months. Build quality is OK as with all Thon cases. Good Strength/Weight ratio.
Only one pair of butterfly locks though ! 2 pair (4 locks in total) would be better.
Helix fits very well inside. I was worried the foam would be 'pressed in' by the back of the unit but this is not the 'case' ;-) as of yet. Time will tell of coarse ! I suspect this will occur in the near future..
