Strings are always a subjective choice, needing to suit both player and instrument. I've tried quite a few strings over the years. I really like these, as a C & G choice, paired with Larsen A & Ds. They perform very well on my Eastman Master series cello, and have been my go to choice for a few years now.

Ich benutze die Spirocore Cello C Spiralkern/Chrom seit ung. 6 Monaten. Man hat mir die Saite empfohlen, ansonsten hätte ich sie mir nicht zugelegt.

Sound:
Klanglich hat mich die Saite etwas überzeugt. Ihr Klang ist eher kraftvoll und angenehm. Von Tomastik wird gesagt, dass die Saite besonders gut anspricht. Das kann ich nicht bestätigen, sondern eher das Gegenteil. Bei mir spielte die Saite leider nicht immer direkt an. Besonders bei Solo-Stücken kann das ziemlich nerven.
Auch ist mir aufgefallen, dass die C Saite die einzige Saite ist, die bei mir immer sehr stark verstimmt war. Bei den Saiten von Larsen die ich ebenso habe, ist das nicht der Fall gewesen! Bei der Saite davor konnte ich das nicht beobachten.

Verarbeitung: Die Saite ist recht gut verarbeitet. Ich konnte keine Schwachstellen festellen. Ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob das Verstimmen der Saite am Wirbel liegt, oder an der Saite selbst!

Fazit: Klanglich ist Saite i.O. Leider spricht sie nicht sehr gut an.
Ich würde das nächste Mal, zu einer anderen C Saite greifen und lieber mehr Geld investieren.
