Hello,
I have been using the Meyer New York Anniversary edition for the last two years. I liked that mouthpiece very much.
I was looking to keep the expresion but also brighten up the sound. This was the perfect mouthpiece for that. I had to go down a little on the reed. I went from a 3 to a 2.5 to get the sound I wanted. I am still getting used to this mouthpiece, but so far I am very happy with it.

Und dass Theo Wanne sich nicht ganz an die Meyer-Größen hält, da kommt man beim Anspielen normalerweise auch drauf. Zumindestens mein 7 ist intonationsmäßig völlig unproblematisch. Ich würde es als etwas offeneres 6er einstufen (erinnert mich an die Öffnungen bei Gottsu). Es klingt sehr groß - "tenorig", ich spiele damit gerne Lead in einer recht lauten Bigband.

Man sollte verschiedene Blattstärken ausprobieren und eventuell ein etwas leichteres Blatt als gewohnt spielen. Gestört hat mich nur der relativ hohe Preis im Vergleich zu gleichwertigen Mundstücken.
