Great room separator

I have a quite difficult room where I set up my studio. The main problem was that I couldn't install there any absorbers (the room is very big) so only one solution to separate my working space by an acoustic curtain and it worked out very well. The quality of the fabric is not the best and it collects much dust but it's a solvable issue since you can wash this type of cotton in washing machine what I actually do every 5 months or so. The main thing that the curtain works, it blocks hi frequencies and gives my room needed isolation.

Cost effective curtain - treat with care

We purchased this as a cheap alternative to a wool serge cyc cloth for various events. The curtain is lightweight, but as it is more of a felt cloth than a woven curtain, it can be easily damaged. In fact ours was ripped very easily after being caught on a flight case.

Fixing wise, we are using spanfix elastic hooks to attach it to a bar. These thread through 35 metal eyes which are along the top of the cloth.

A good, cost effective cloth which will last if looked after.
