Not bad, not great either.

This does not fit the old slotted bolts from vintage Premier drums, which is the reason I bought it. That aside, I'm sure it would be a handy accessory to have if you have drums with more modern (thicker) slotted bolts, as well as standard square headed bolts. In terms of the design, I think it would be more comfortable to use if there was more of a crucifix type overlap, rather than an L-shape. Not much leverage and not very comfortable in the hand.

It's curved!
It's a good key for fine tuning and it looks different so you'll stand out from the drummers with normal keys.
Party piece, conversation starter..You never know..this key may lead you to the love of your life

It's OK but.........

I bought this as I use a vintage drum kit with slotted tensioners and modern stands with square headed adjusters.
This key is well made but it does not fit the slotted head tensioners as the tang is too thick.

Well.. it works

Works nicely as a drum key (as it should) and feels great in my hand. The angled design on it makes it easy to spin quickly at low tension and gives enough leverage at higher tensions :)
