Good sound, sloppy construction

The sound from this pickup in the bridge of my HSS Deluxe Strat is like an angel's raspy scream of rage; full, throaty, warm, and loud. It's a perfect match for the 2 Kinman singles I have, for when I want a more Randy Rhoads / Jimmy Page sort of tone in my music. However, the construction is sloppy; the Chrome Seymour Duncan trembucker cover I purchased would not fit, as the cable lead, the part beneath the cloth winding wraps, bulges out beyond the frame of the pickup. I had to file away at my pickguard some to clear this same sloppy job. I have no doubt it will last, and it sounds great, but be aware SD QC seems to have taken a day off on this one.

Versatile vintage PAF tonality... Choose your strings carefully though

This will get you into genuine PAF territory in guitars made other than of maple-capped mahogany... Scooped in the mids, plenty of bottom and a bit more top end than, say, a Seth Lover. Be aware that it gets closest to the true PAF tone on lighter gauge strings (9s are great) on typical Fender scale length. Seems to have been designed for exactly that purpose... If early Van Halen is what you are after, it's pretty much the ideal choice.

Super son doux, chaud bien defini. En remplacement d'un Fender Atomic Humbucker sur une cyclone, le niveau de sortie est certes plus modeste, mais le rend du coup bcp plus versatile.
Installé en position bridge, il est tres agreable pour du blues, blues/rock là où l'atomic humbucker etait trop typé et agressif, notamment dans les aigus.
Il sonne egalement tres bien avec des od/fuzz plus poussés.
