Natürlich ist die Einschätzung von Pickups zumindest teilweise subjektiv, aber ich kann vorweg sagen, dass das für mich der beste Seymour Duncan PU ist.
Ich bin schon länger ein großer Freund von Duncans, habe aber den Custom 5 bisher nicht so richtig auf dem Radar gehabt. Die Beschreibung dazu hat dann allerdings absolut zu meinen Vorstellungen gepasst, da das Einstzgebiet mit 80s Metal, Thrash, Black'n'Roll sehr breit ist und nicht unbedingt für extrem high gain ausgelegt ist (das mach ich bei Bedarf lieber im Effektweg). Einsatzmittel ist eine Jackson KVXT. Den Sound möchte ich Euch gar nicht erst umschreiben, sondern viel nützlicher dürfte sein, dass (für mich) die Beschreibungen, die man gemeinhin dazu findet, ziemlich präzise und realitätsnah sind. Da ist wirklich drin, was draufsteht. Bei 2x HU Konfiguration extrem einfacher Einbau.
