Wonderful bridge pickup for blues, rock, jazz even country (with coil split).
I wanted more powerful and versatile pickup for my vintage Ibanez AM 205 than original Super 58.
JB is more full sounding pickup with loads of sweet tone. Great when used with nice tube amp?s natural overdrive. It has FOUR wire which allows several useful wiring combinations. I use it as a full humbucker and a single coil (beck or front coil with a switch) which gives me tele or strat bridge tone.
Works great with a neck pickup, Dimarzio Bluesbucker in my case.

I've just upgraded the stock pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro for this (bridge) and the Jazz (neck). I can't get over how great my guitar sounds now. It's completely different! Loads more tone and punch. Put a bit of overdrive on and it is stunning. In single coil mode it sounds really mean. I love it!

This pickup is a classic. I've used the JB on off over the past 30 years. This is a gold
top which i wanted for the new guitar I built. Superb harmonics and smooth sound.
Sometimes the JB doesn't always work with certain guitars but I've put this one in
the bridge position on a strat and it sings.
