Very solid switch

Vertically compliant 22.04.2021

The quality of the switch is second to none in workmanship and that satisfying 'clack' -- no matter how "original" and "authentic" some American brands claim to be.

Top Class switching from Schaller.

I purchased this switch for a scratch build project. The guitar is a Ibanez Jem clone so the switch needed to be able to handle the different pickup combinations. Schaller provides some excellent support on their website with respect to wiring so I was able to fit the switch with little or no problems. In use it has a very positive action. There is no sloppiness that may lead you to doubts over your pickup selection. There is no noise. This has been the case since it was fitted over a year ago. This switch has definitely lived up to expectations and it is something that I would recommend. Do some research on the Schaller website to make sure that you purchase the switch that you need. I will be buying more as I need them.

Quality is great, but version S is NOT compatible with a HH-configuration

I bought this some months ago because the switch in my guitar was defective. Thomann is my first-to-go-website for my guitar parts, as I live in Germany and the products are delivered pretty quick everytime.

My guitar has a dual humbucker configuration and I decided to order myself the Schaller Megaswitch version S, as the description and images on the website showed me that this switch is compatible with a dual humbucker configuration.

I installed this switch in my guitar and searched the wiring diagram at Schallers website and there I found out that this switch is not at all compatible with a dual humbucker configuration, but only with a S-S-S or H-S-S configuration (and some other configurations).

I don't own a H-S-S guitar yet, but I will keep this switch until I have one and install it then. Meanwhile I have ordered the switch in version T (which is a 3-way for a H-H configuration) at Schallers webshop, as this one is not available at Thomann.

I would kindly advice Thomann to adjust the productdescription for this switch.

Works perfect

I bought this switch to replace the original 5way switch that I had on my Squier Strat.

You can feel the durability of the product since the first touch. It's solid and moves nice when you are trying to change the position.

A year later I can tell you that I am very satisfied with the product. The switching is impeccable, no electrical clicks, works like new and boy I am the type of player that switches a lot between the pickups. I strongly recommend it.
