A Rolls amongst Headphone Amps?

As most people are aware, Rolls Royce is a marque synonymous with quality, whilst this product doesn't quite live up to it's namesake, the build quality is excellent with the all important bit included, 'Made In The USA'. I have only had this unit for a couple of weeks but thus far I have had no issues of concern, the 20 db of gain is especially useful in a live recording environment. For those in the market for a no nonsense, quality headphone amp, which isn't too 'fiddly', the Rolls HA 43 Pro ticks all the boxes.

Ein einfach ausgestatteter Kopfhörer-Verstärker mit 4 Kopfhörer-Ausgängen. Jeweils mit 3,5 mm bzw. 6,3 mm Klinken-Ausgängen. Die vier Ausgänge können getrennt über 4 Pegelsteller (Schieberegler) geregelt werden. In der Mittelposition rasten die Pegelsteller leicht ein. Leider bieten die vier Pegelsteller unterschiedlichen Widerstand beim bedienen. Ansonsten ist der Wirkungsgrad aller vier Pegelsteller gleich. Rauschen oder hörbare Verzerrungen konnte ich nicht feststellen. Der HA 43 PRO arbeitet sauber und klingt gut. Zu guter Letzt kommt dieser Kopfhörer-Verstärker nicht aus Fernost, was ja auch schon mal etwas wert ist. Bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Kauf...

Funktioniert ohne Probleme.
Was mich etwas stört: ein Fuß scheint etwas kürzer zu sein => er wackelt ein bisschen.
Was ich mit noch gewünscht hätte: einen Ein/Aus-Schalter. Ich will ihn nicht jedes mal abstecken müssen.

Noisy, faulty and distorting

Bought this to extend then headphone-monitoring possibilities in my small studio and was very disappointed. 1 of the 4 outputs is heavily distorting and useless at any input/output level. 2 of the remaining outputs have loose connections in the ¼" headphone connector, meaning the output jitters between mono/stereo. The faders feel brittle and are quite unprecise, the input is unbalanced, meaning noise will be introduced.
Can not recommend.
