You wouldn't know how your A/D and D/A converters really sound until they match impedance of everything else you connect them to. This device helps me to connect my digital mixer's output with the signal attenuation to accommodate my consumer Denon amplifier. I used a pair of Sontronics attenuators before and they are more designed for microphone signals as they cut on high frequencies on line level signals. This device doesn't. I no longer hear any difference in the signal levels (and quality) when switching between different audio sources on my monitor amplifier and the noise/amp-hiss stays very low. Surprisingly, now all of my D/As sound nearly the same, with a very subtly audible difference, if any. Try Radial Engineering products. You'll be amazed at by how much you can improve your interfaces. And please don't try those cheap passive Neutrik solutions. I've done it and had to return them immediately. They lose connections, distort and not isolate. Radial won't let you down. Rock solid and clean product.

J'avais une liaison longue en RCA (environ 20 mètres)
Comme le départ était symétrique (jacks 3 connecteurs) et l'arrivée asymétrique (RCA) le long câble générait des parasites audibles dans les graves
Avec cet appareil, je transporte un signal symétrique quasiment jusqu'au terminal de réception
Fini les parasites
La qualité est très bonne (pas besoin pour moi de la version J avec des transfos Jensen et qui coûte le double)
Depuis mon achat j'ai découvert que NEUTRIK fait des désymétriseurs miniature beaucoup moins chers (sans réglage de gain ni ground lift ni pad )

Heel mooi apparaat maar teveel verzwakking van het signaal voor onze toepassing

Werkelijk solide gebouwd en strak afgewerkt. Qua ruis en vervorming kan ik helemaal niets ontdekken. Echter hebben we hem toch teruggestuurd omdat het overgebleven signaal zwakker is dan verwacht, ook als de volumeknop van de unit op max staat.
De toepassing was een mengpaneel (Soundcraft Ui16) via balanced aux over 25m balanced kabel naar deze omvormer, waarna het op een live stream moest worden aangesloten.
We hebben nu een ART Cleanbox aangeschaft; die getest en geeft veel meer signaal door.
De Radial is passief, en de ART actief, dus dat is logisch.
Qua kwaliteit mankeert er echter helemaal niets aan de Radial!

Nachdem ich zum Asymmetrieren zuerst die "CLEAN Box Pro" der Firma ART ausprobiert habe ich mich für die "Engineering Pro Iso Box" von Radial entschieden. Im Gegensatz zur ART-Box bietet die Radial-Box einen schaltbaren Ground Lift, welcher mein existierendes Brummen sofort beseitigte. Der Sound ist wie man es von Radial kennt ausgezeichnet.

Ich würde mir das Gerät jederzeit wieder kaufen!
