I use this cable for recording microphone.

The product has good quality in terms of sound transparency, isolation and material.

If taken good care i think it will last for years.

The full black design its an extra point making it more elegant than conventional black and chrome cables.

Its a bargain for the quality.

I Purchased this in Jan 2017 and thus far it's still like brand new. At first I was slightly sceptical about speding that much on a single XLR cable but I haven't needed to replace it since unlike cheaper alternatives I have also purchased!

The build quality of these, like all planet waves cables i've tried is excellent. the connectors seem very solid and the cables feel like they are built to last.

Sound quality and noise isn't as big a deal in XLR as it is in instrument cable and that is reflected by a lower price on these XLR cables than on the planet waves instrument cables. But it still feels solid and i'm happy with these.

I have used other mic cables and Planet Waves are the best.

There is no interference. They give a better, stronger signal so the gain doesn't have to be pushed up as high. They can survive extremes of temperature. I had other cables that when they were brought in from the cold would give the most awful crackling noise for hours after being taken in.
They last longer than other cables with more rigorous use. Definitely a better buy.
