A great instrument for the price

A beautifully crafted instrument. The acoustic sound is good, and the pickup sounds very nice. I bought it mainly for the pickup because I use it in a pretty loud ensemble, and it hasn't turned me down in that area. As mentioned, it sounds good acoustically as well, maybe a little "thin" in the higher register but that was expected in this price range. I am really happy with it, and it was a huge improvement from my previous mandolin.

Sadly it needed a bit of love when I first got it, so I delivered it to a luthier who sanded the bridge and evened out the frets to get the action lowered. Afterwards it became an amazing instrument. Great playabillity, good sound, and, most importantly one might say, a beautiful finish.
