Cheapest Meinl 8'' chrome darbuka
Danil K. 14.05.2015
This is a small 8-inch darbuka from the company Meinl, 5 tuning screws, key included. Not the cheapest darbuka size of 8 inches from all available online thomann.de.
This darbuka is more suitable for a souvenir. It looks very nice, all chrome and shiny. I even tried to set it up and play. But the sound of the membrane was pretty strange but not the worst. Sound is finite can not be compared with expensive \ professionally dumbek and darbuka. But from the company Meinl I was expecting a little more in terms of quality of the membrane. Therefore, for the sound of 4 \ 5
As always pleased with the speed of delivery and quality of the packaging. thomann.de. proffesionaly true. Thanks to all. Enjoy the shopping!

A great instrument!
Anónimo 09.01.2017
I bought this for just fooling around with my friends and playing our darbukas and it is a fine sounding instrument!
The clarity and the frequency of it is unmatched. Has a great bass sound that I can't believe that it's just a piece of steel that creates that defined noise!
As far as the overall sound goes, the edge or treble hits are also very crisp, making the darbuka great all around. The relationship between all of the sounds and places to hit it is great!
The steel is great, however I was holding it and bumped it into a doorway and it dented about a millimeter down, however you shouldn't have to worry about that unless you are clumsy like me!
