Quality tunes

Haven't had much use with them yet, but they seem to be good quality. I bought these to replace the stock tuners on the HB TE-62 DB and needed to ream/drill the headstock to approx 9mm. I started with a tapered ream and then drilled out carefully with a 9mm hss bit in reverse.
It is also worth mentioning that I had to send back the first set of tuners because they were reversed.

Very impressed with these for the price

These seem really well made and look really nice quality. They are a tiny bit stiff but nothing a few turns don’t sort out. They are definitely an upgrade to stock standard tuners you get on Harley Benton’s. Only odd thing is they are not a drop in on a Harley Benton guitar I assumed they would all have the same bore hole. So you will need to widen the hole with a reamer.

But for the price if your looking for a locking tuner on a budget then these are worth a purchase.

Very nice locking tuners !

Very nice locking tuners in vintage KLuson style.
I replaced the original tuners (also Kluson style but not locking) with this set to get more tuning stability on my HB Strat.
The result is what I wanted.
The only remark is that you have to drill a bigger bore (8,5 - 9 mm) !
And very satisfied with such a democratic price ! ! !

Ich habe diese Mechaniken in eine Partscaster als Ersatz für "normale" Klusons eingebaut. Sofort positiv fiel auf, dass sie exakt maßhaltig sind, der Einbau ging ohne weitere Holzarbeiten vonstatten, die vorhandenen Hülsen konnten problemlos weiterbenutzt werden. Die Lockingfunktion macht genau das, was sie soll, den Stimmvorgang schneller und mit wesentlich weniger Verstimmungen beim Spielen zu ermöglichen. Weshalb nun nur 4 Punkte? Die Mechaniken sind nicht sonderlich leichtgängig, auch treten hier Unterschiede zwischen den einzelnen Aggregaten auf. Dies besserte sich erheblich, als ich sie sozusagen "im Leerlauf" mittels Saitenkurbel ein paarmal durchdrehte. Die verbliebenen Unregelmäßigkeiten fallen allerdings nicht wirklich ins Gewicht, da ja durchs Locking gar nicht mehr in dem Maße wie ohne gedreht werden
muss. Insofern alles in Ordnung, Kauf auf keinen Fall bereut und Empfehlung ausgesprochen!
