Brilliant for the money

Had heard and read good things about this bass. Been playing on and off for nearly 40 years and needed a bass. I would recommend it for anyone from beginner to seasoned player. Could do with a minor set-up and the fingerboard is a bit dry but these are easily fixable

They've done it again! Beautiful instrument.

Beautiful instrument. Great sound and crafstmanship. The bass is solid, but not heavy and is perfectly balanced with zero neck dive. I'd buy it again without hesitation. Thanks again Harley Benton / Thomann. Now I have my eye on the JB62SB

Great bass for beginners or seasoned players

Get value, arrived with no issues, no flaws in fit or finish.
Sounds as a jazz bass should. Plays well set up perfectly from factory. The neck looks and feels amazing very smooth. No problems with fret edges etc. The finger board didnt need any oil on it (which I was expecting, as a few of my hb guitars have required this upon delivery).

For the price I am super happy would recommend 100%. In fact I am so happy Im looking at a maple fret board one as a spare/back up/ different tuned on. Much better imo than an entry level squier and about half the price.

Great value for money

This is my first bass guitar ever. I've played the bass here and there but never had one, so I thought why not give HB a chance.

It met and at some point exceeded my expectations. The pickups are great. With the knobs and a nice amp, you can get iconic tones. The fretboard quality is presumably not the best, but it gets the job done
