Excellent value for money

Bought this to improve the input chain in my home setup, and to bypass my spiky onboard preamps. It is probably one of the best value for money audio products I have used yet.

It particularly excels as a vocal preamp and a DI. I found it had smoother mid range than my Yamaha onboards, and guitars become incredibly thick and punchy with the input gain cranked.

Overall it doesn't distort quite as nicely as a 1073, ultimately missing those shimmering highs, but at this price point you really won't mind.

Qui n'a pas rêvé de Neve en regardant le docu Sound City ?
Même si c'est une recréation, pour ce prix on a un super préamp qui va du clean à une saturation du transfo de sortie si on le pousse.
Niveau fabrication : une claque, rien à redire !
Je ne regretta pas du tout mon achat.

Beautiful Vintage Sound

The material is very good, pure metal. The sound is simply incredible, it gives you that vintage sound and harmonic distortion desired by many musicians with interesting nuances when playing with the knobs. Totally recommended to give a plus to the microphone and instruments and achieve a more professional sound.

Świetny preamp

Bardzo dobrze brzmiący preamp. Zupełnie inna liga niż preampy z Focusrite Scarlett. Nawet nagranie gitary przez wejście DI brzmi lepiej niż przez sam interfejs. Jedyny minus to rzecz wizualna- oś przełącznika wzmocnienia i potencjometru jest za długa i gałki dziwnie odstają od obudowy. Poza tym nie ma się do czego przyczepić.
