A great drum head!

I've used this head on my Mapex Saturn and my Yamaha Stage Custom and achieved great results with both kits. Its great if you're looking for a punchy and deep tone and I found it incredibly easy to tune.

What I was looking for

I needed a short, punchy sound (i usually play small/medium gigs) for my 20" bass drum. The Emad2 is perfect for that, and also it is extremely easy to tune.
Only issue was that the bigger dampening ring I got was for a 22" head (while the small one was of the correct size). Not a huge deal and I know Thomann would have replace that in a minute, but still, unusual for the Evans standard. Nevermind, the small dampening ring is more than enough!

Emad 2 best head i've used in years

I love the flexibility of being able to use, no damping foam, small dampingffoam ring or the large damping ring without having to remove the head. It's a good solid head with a nice tone but good fat bit of punch when using the rings. Nice easy to use head with a great sound without too much tuning and fettling. Highly recommended for a nice fat rocky sound. I always use a falam kick pad protector as well as I'm not made of money.
