Fantastic piece of kit.

After searching for a long time for a robust and solid mic holder for my kits, I finally found the answer.
Very adaptable, and will fit both my DW and Tama tom holders ( and other brands). The trick is to leave plenty of space above where you clamp your toms onto the tom holders.
Set up takes some effort, especially on small toms like an 8", but once you're happy with it's placement, it's so easy to get to sit the same way each time you set up.
The quick grip clamp can also be used to mount a cymbal arm from a floor tom leg, or from another cymbal arm.
I will be doing both mic and cymbal mounting with these.
I highly recommend them, and I'll be buying more.
Pros: Rock solid. Very sturdy and well built.
Cons: Not really a con, but a little slow to take on and off with a drum tuning key, but it's necessary as a wing nut would be too intrusive.

Bought these to go on top of my Tama tom holders and they work a treat. Very very useful piece of gear!!

Eine absolut geniale Erfindung dieses Teil. Ich habe seit Jahren nach einem Mikrohalter gesucht, der mit den Platz um die Toms nicht zu sehr verkleinert und trotzdem die Mikros optimal in der Position hält. Dieser Mikrohalter hat eine super Qualität und ist einfach völlig ausgereift. Passt sogar auf die "Nicht-DW" Tom-Arme meines TAMA Sets und ich bin einfach völlig glücklich. Ich bekomme das Grinsen nicht mehr aus dem Gesicht bei diesen Teilen: Eine super Erfindung. Das habt ihr richtig gut gemacht.
Einziger Verbesserungswunsch: Der Vierkant für die Montage auf dem L-Arm ist manchmal von der Flügelmutter für die Verstellung des Winkels der Halterung verdeckt. Hier könnte man noch etwas mehr Spielraum schenken.

Jag köpte den kortare varianten. Ångrade ganska direkt att jag inte köpte den längre. Men sedan kom jag på att använda dem som hållare till mina tunga baskaggemickar (shure beta52). Nu funkar de perfekt. De tunga Shure beta52 rör sig inte ur fläcken. De sitter monterade på en träregel och en gängtapp, orubbliga.
