Used for cutting it in two

I needed a cable between speakON amp and and binding posts speakers, but I could not easily find one.
Therefore I purchased this 5 m speakoON to speakON cable with intention to cut it in two and add some spades.
That was quite straightforward, and the obtained 2 x 2.5 m speakON to binding posts cables serve their purpose very well.
As a result the amp (PAS 2002PCA) works very well with the speakers (Gradient 1.5 Helsinki).
The cable itself was tangibly better than other speakON cables I have dealt with, and also I prefer it to Hi-Fi 2 x 2.5mm2 speaker cables.

Great quality/price ratio

I bought these as part of a PA set and was pleasantly surprised to get such good quality at package price. The cables are thick and robust and stand up well to being used regularly - they are thick enough to avoid "kinking" and also heavy enough to lie flat nicely across a floor - always good to avoid trip hazards! I've also been impressed with the quality of the connectors, which click in satisfyingly and the contacts have been robust. The manufacturing of the cable seems good - no hint of a crackle or pop and no reason to worry. I think these will be reliable for a long time.

the materials and construction of cables these is way beyond what i started with back in the early fourteenth century

great quality cable that has never failed me

i had to modify one and had problems because the wire was so thick - that's a good thing by the way
