Really impressed with this microphone, it's very versatile and could be used for a wide range of applications from drums to instruments; we use it as a lecturn mic for different people speaking from the front of church and it picks up their voices without any issues and without having to change its position. The clip for it is very stiff to begin with but after a few uses becomes fine. Good price for great mic.

solid mics at that price

I mostly use it for live applications ,I have to say that these mics bacame more popular the last 5 years and now they are rider friendly.For sure they compete well to other industry standard mics

Das Audix ADX 51 ist ein sehr gut verarbeitetes und klanglich sehr brilliantes Mikrofon. Es eignet sich hervoragend als Overheadmike fürs Schlagzeug.

Ein besonderes Plus bietet hierbei der zuschaltbare Lowcutfilter und die Absenkung des Pegels um 10dB. Die Schalter sind dabei auch so verbaut, damit sie nicht einfach umgeschaltet werden können, was für manche einen positiven Aspekt mit sich bringt, für andere aber eher unpraktisch ist.
Das Mikrofon ist sehr hochauflösend und bringt den Klang sehr gut weiter. Ich hatte das Mikrofon selbst als Overheadmike im Einsatz und war sehr zufrieden. Dieses Mike könnte sich auch sehr gut zur Abnahme von Flügeln und Klavieren, sowie zur Abnahme von Flöten und Geigen, als auch Akustikgitarren eignen.

Seine sehr gute Verarbeitung und sein ausgezeichneter Klang machen es zu einem Mikrofon mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältniss und damit zu einem echten Geheimtipp!
