A great deal of work to set up..

A real pain but once set it has a difference in tone and sounds nice.
If it's set correctly it can rattle so real attention needs to be payed in the setup.
I fitte this to an Ibanez bantom 6 string with a little filing on the edges.

Good.... but need some work....

Good product overall... but few things to be considered by potential buyer : height of bridge (very low) requires some shims at the bottom ( vary of type bass you upgrading). Preferable same material (brass) .... String grooves might not take heavy gauge strings..... single string adjusting looks better on pics than works in real (means works ok , but how i said you might loose strings grove depth at some point)
This product in my opinion requires a little DIY job.

Top replacement nut

Bought this replacement nut for a 6 string bass on which the original nut had broken. This was a top product and offered superb and flexible adjustment. Open strings had an added bright zing to them. Overall I have been very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it as a replacement nut.

Many years ago I had a Warwick Thumb bass V with the same nut on its neck. Lately i was setting up my 6 string neck thru bass, I never really liked the plastic nut on it and while filing the slots unfortunately I went too deep with one so I needed a new nut and with great pleasure I have found this one, which is reasonably priced and well built.
As soon as it arrived it went straight on the neck and it was perfect, same size as the original one and all I had to do was just to set the screws for the right action (I like it low) and this nut iswhat you want if you are an action freak!
I am under the impression that also the sound and the sustain of the instrument have improved compared to the plastic nut and finally I have got the same beautiful adjustable nut as my Warwick!
It looks good and give the instrument a better look in my opinion.
