Wittner Ultra Classic Tailpiece Violin

Overall a good tailpiece with a nice visual shape and material. Even better if paired with a loop E fine tuner. This improved the sound of the E string on my violin.
Although some might prefer a wooden tailpiece, I did not notice any difference in sound quality due to the different material. However, this one has a length of 115mm and this is not stated in the description of the product.

A shorter tailpiece may be preferred (106-108mm) if you want to match the after-length from the bridge to the tailpiece of 1/6 in relation to the strings' vibrating length (325-330mm). This is where you may notice an improvement in sound.
