Vic Firth HB Heritage Brushes

I’m a jazz drummer and play a lot of brushes. I already tried a lot of brushes and these are not perfect, but they are the all around best ones I have played. The bristles are thin, so you get a really smooth sound out of the sweeps. But they are also pretty responsive, and in terms of rebound and getting good articulation, this is the best brush. The balance between both is just fantastic. The only area where it loses to other brushes is the width of the wire gauge. It should be wider because it makes it easier to accent with Flap strokes, as for example in most Regaltip models, which are also great, but lose out in the responsiveness.
