If you're short on space, this a handy little device to have as an alternative to have stands cluttering the floor and getting in the way, potentially being a trip hazard.
The joy of the Triad Orbit system is its versatility. Combining the different elements, you can make whatever you wish, within reason.
The downsides. They are expensive for what they are, but ultimately, they of a high quality and last for many years. Another downside I experienced was that the blue rubber within the clamp soon became damaged after little use. This now results in leaving scratches/marks on whatever I'm clamping onto, unless I use some padding of my own which then results in the clamp not gripping quite as well.

Overall, I'm happy with it. It's proved very useful so far and I would highly recommend the Triad Orbit systems to those who are perhaps short on space.

As you would expect for this price, the clamp is very well made and is strong. But because of the rubber, the pivot point and shape there is still a lot of movement in the arm because of the soft rubber. I use it for a camera and it is not as stable as hoped. Missed feature is that you cannot screw in the interface on different positions on the clamp.

Had a need for a boom arm to hold the microphone near my drum rack horizontally, and found Triad Oribit. These products are top of the line, very well built, the finish materials are awesome as well. Holds the microphone steady, and connected to a orbit arm v2 allows me to adjust the tension spot on so i can bring and push the microphone away, at will. Very happy and just what i needed! Thanks for providing
