The sound of SD3 is insane. This thing is extremely realistic. You can control pretty much every parameter you can imagine like mike bleed, alternate hits, etc.
It takes a bit to get used to tho, the UI is somewhat confusing at the beginning and it takes a while to unlock the whole potential of SD3. There are some very good tutorials online tho.
I do wish the standard library came with a little bit more variation instead of having to buy the expansions for it. You have some very good kits but in the end, it's the same configuration for all of them and you always "record" on the same room, so while the drums sound different, the room is always the same.

Was soll man noch großartig über SD3 schreiben, was nicht schon in zig Reviews gesagt wurde.
Die Drum Software ist (subjektiv) die beste auf dem Markt. Ich habe davor SSD4 benutzt, das auch sehr gut klingt, aber SD3 setzt noch einmal einen drauf mit, meiner Meinung nach, noch besseren Drum Samples und fantastischer Effektsektion. Auch die mitgelieferten Presets sind durchaus brauchbar, auch wenn sie sich sehr auf Rock und Metal fokussieren.
Die Abwicklung als EDU Software hat reibungslos geklappt und nach ein paar Tagen war die Software auch schon freigeschaltet. Lieben Dank auch nochmal an das Thomann Team dafür!
