These are a great case and for a reasonable price. Thonn make flights cases such as these accessible for everybody, as some of the other brands can be very pricey. These are sturdy cases and can take a hell if a hacking, but at the end of the day they are made if timber and timber does chip and break easier than some if the hard plastic cases. All components such as locks, hinges, casters are if high quality and have never failed me yet. The sectioned out areas of this case is fantastic and ideal as a cable trunk. The section splitters can easily be removed which gives you a whole new type of case. I have several different Thonn cases and they all are standing the test of time and life on the road very well. If you have good quality gear you want to take care of then I recommend investing in some Thonn cases.

For the past ten years we've managed to carry our cables around in large heavy-duty plastic crates.
One for power cables, one for extension cables and one for audio cables.
These finally wore out so we needed a better solution.
This cable trunk is perfect. the dimensions means it fits into a typical panel van (we have ours permanently strapped in). the three compartments are each the perfect size for their respective cables.
It can still be lifted and moved by two persons even when completely full
The braked wheels do a good job also and the trunk doesn't slide around.
Highly recommended. If we expand our business then we shall simply buy another one of these.
