Gaveta de rack bastante robusta e bem construída. Faz a sua função na perfeição. O único ponto negativo é o seu peso sendo este um pouco elevado... Mas quando precisar novamente de uma gaveta semelhante será este mesmo modelo que irei comprar!

Built like a tank

All these Thon drawers are built from heavy steel and are heavy duty, I have three of the 4U and one 2U built into the Studio Producer RTA workstation desk. All excellent kit and very reasonably priced. The function of the drawers is as good as the build quality, they very smoothly slide in and out on their runners and latch themselves shut when closed so they don't inadvertently open. They come with heavy duty locks built in and are supplied with two keys. I would recommend these drawers to anyone, for studio use or if they need to withstand the rigours of the road.

Good solid rack drawers

These are good quality rack drawers. I have been using the 2U version for secure microphone storage in a theatre control room for about a year and they have done a great job.

Pros: The runners are good quality so they are smooth to open and close. The metal is very think and the whole assembly feels sturdy. The catch keeps the drawer firmly closed.

Cons: The lock seems quite weak. A few people eventually managed to pull the drawer open ( ..."I didn't realise it was locked, and it came open in my hand"...) , and eventually the lock tab broke off. To be fair, I suspect that the first person to "accidently" break in must have used a lot of force.I eventually solved the problem by attaching an external hasp and padlock as a visual deterent.

Does what I need

I use this drawer in my 8u rack to hold cables and such. It's a sturdy design which works well however the clip to open sometimes can take a few attempts to get it to open. Similarly its pretty heavy and, given it's in a small 8u rack, actually adds a lot of weight.
