Two simultaneous delays with the unmistakable sound of early digital rack devices
Both delays support true stereo operation for a total of four interactive delay lines
Modern sound character with 24 bit / 96 kHz as well as classic digital sound with ADM (Adaptive Delta Modulation) or 12-bit converters
Serial or parallel connection of both delays and ping-pong mode

El Capistan:

Sophisticated dTape algorithms provide detailed and nuanced reproductions of various tape echoes
Three different tape echo variants
Flexible echo settings with adjustable note values and various options for using the tape heads
Tape age, crinkle points, bias and synchronisation fluctuations can be adjusted for tonal variety and character

A Commendation Worth Repeating

I have a host of delay plugins. Nowhere have I seen the quality and diversity that area available from this Strymon package. The algorithms used in the Echo Plugin Bundle are outstanding, whether you're looking for that sharp clear repeat for the guitar or some creamy fading vocal cadence. Superb.

Everything I thought it would be

I've owned both of these pedals previously so I knew what to expect, and these plug-ins deliver the exact same sound in an even easier interface since you can see all the parameters visually. For 105 euro this is also an amazing value. A shame they went with iLok for copy protection, but otherwise perfect!
