I have used this controller for 6 years and it still works really good.I have lost slider buttons and some corner have got some beating marks but the controller still works great.

I use it with Stairville Strobe 1500 DMX Power Strobe and I like the functions and possibilities that the controller offers. Only thing that i miss on that is there are too little pre set functions to use and no possibility to save chases for strobes. Also some problems in music mode - flash is off beat for few seconds. This controller is really good for mobile DJ because of the size and big buttons that are really good to use in the dark room.

Also there are possibility to use dmx or analog connection to strobe and if used both strobes they are work in sync. At least when I used both connection types the strobes kept in sync.

I do like this controller after 6 years of use and I am still happy user.

Works, but not really heavy duty.

We have burned through three of theese in the past two years. Don't expect it to last in a DJ booth very long. Could really use more rigid buttons. It's really sad when it's all metal and good build quality, but the buttons are just too cheap. The culprit is the full strobe button that breaks first. Can be swapped with the one below, "single flash" if you're a skilled solder.

Works well with standard strobes but I have had some issues getting the DMX right with some new "LED" strobes. With old-school tubes, no problems.

Also, sound mode and the built in programs are very good. Basically the reson why we still stick with it.

Ideal standalone strobe controller, does what it should and works perfectly with the stairville 1500 strobe.
