I use it to record vocals with my sm57 and works great.

Only thing I'm concerned is the screw on the side that holds the windscreen in place. I wouldn't tighten it because the rim is plastic and feels fragile. A clip on or a screw with a large head that wouldn't require a screwdriver would be better I guess.

other than that I don't regret buying it. It serves its purpose well

I bought this hoping it would get rid of the popping sound on my
SM57 but I think it's meant to be a shield for recording outside in the wind. It reduces slightly the pop but I still need to use another anti pop in order to get a proper vocal take.

Great, I use my mic mainly for vocals and this cuts out a great amount of breath/other noises. Results in a much clearer sound. It looks cool too and it's easier to bring along with you than a pop filter would be.

I love this accessory because it makes my Shure SM57 an even more versatile microphone than it already is.
I bought this so I could use my Shure SM57 microphone for recording voices and singing. Since the SM57 doesn?t have a windscreen (like the SM58) I would highly recommend this if you want to use your SM57 for recording vocals.

This windscreen reduces that horrible ?popping? sound when saying certain words, especially words starting with the letter ?P?. I also like the look of this windscreen. The only con of this accessory is that you loss a tiny bit of high end from the SM57 but that doesn?t bother me.

Overall great quality accessory and I would definitely recommend it!

Been using this with my SM57 connect to my SP404...just needed something to use outside to record trees birds street noise and so on.....works great for field recording.... Impressive build quality.

Tried and true. I like how this windscreen has a distinct look to it. You have some adjustment on how far or close to the grille you want it. A bit pricy for what it is but it works fine.

Fits the SM57 perfectly. Tightens onto microphone by means of a small screw - so keep the screwdriver handy! Also easy to remove. Does what it is meant to do perfectly. Not a pop can be heard in windy environments when using this windscreen. It looks presentable unlike other alternatives.
