The rubber sleeve on my 25+ year old Shubb is still soldiering on. It has a small split that appeared but which did not develop or grow bigger but, nonetheless, it is nice to have a spare one ready. Kudos to Shubb for making these available to buy, when they could have left you to buy a new capo.

Great replacement, if you will ever need it.

I have used my shupp cappo for 20 years and the plastic on the edges was a bit worn of. The capo still did it's job but it was time to replace it.

The replacement was super easy. The capo is as new and ready for another 20 years of use.

Actually wore out one of these, though it did take a few years (rubber parts always wear on and cappo), its great that this part can be replaced, makes a slightly more expensive capo cheaper over the years as well.

Had one of these for what seems like forever and it's still going strong . Nice to have a spare Sleeve just in case the original wears out . Shubb capo's are quality ! Fantastic !

Bought the main Shrubb C3 capo at the same time as this sleeve, in case I needed to replace the sleeve on the original unit. However I have not needed to make the replacement. Like the main C3 capo the quality is excellent, thoughtful of Shrubb to offer the sleeve in case your original sleeve get worn ( you then don't need to buy the whole capo unit)..

Having Shubb capos for YEARS the rubber finally began to split. The replacement sleeves fit perfectly and I expect another 25 years out of my capo.

The old sleeve was torn and started to allow the strings to rattle.
This new sleeve just slid on with a bit of Greece and every thing sounds great agin!
