Does what it says but not ideal for hands free use.

I bought this hoping to be able to use a mic hands free whilst moving around.

Whilst yes, it does hold the microphone very well and safely, it leaves it in a position where it does not seem to pick up sound when speaking normally. I found that in order to actually use the mic, I still had to hold it or position my head so that I ended up speaking into my chest - definitely not ideal!

So - if you don't mind holding the mic when speaking but need an easy way to keep it in easy reach when moving around without having to hold it - this product is ideal.

If like me, you need to be able to speak hands free - I suggest to invest in a headset primarily. Although a mic & this neck strap are good to have as a budget friendly backup, and I'm happy to have them as a backup.

These are very hard to source so I have bought a number of these. They fit all mikes, the strap is adjustable and is comfortable to wear! Excellent alternative to investing in a wireless head mike :)
