Fair enough for the price

The breakaway hinges are OK, I've had similar hinges which were difficult to use, but these are OK.
Cheap panel material, but it is a budget case. Fine for the road, I wouldn't call it a flightcase. Generous size for the price.
The inside of the base has a layer of soft foam. Not a good surface for mounting pedals on. I have pulled out the foam and stuck in some acrylic blocks to mount everything onto, and to lift them high enough above the lip of the case.

Cheap materials and easy to break.

I’ve had this case for about a year now and it’s trashed. All four rubber feet have broken off with very little pressure, and even though I replaced them with thicker rivets, the panel material is basically just paperboard so they came off again. The metal rails on the edges are also very thin and easily pull out of the corners if something gets dragged against them. The case is more of a fancy cardboard box than an actual road case. The handle held up well, and I made sure to protect the cheap latches, so they at least are still working. The hinges on the lid slowly bent out of shape and need to be hammered back into place every few months. I am going to replace it with a Thon case, which are far better built and strong impact resistant materials made for protection. You usually get what you pay for with Thon, but with this Rockboard case I feel ripped off.

Absolut tank of a case!

For this price, it's a bargain. Case seems very solid, I think it can take quite a beating. Its also deceptively spacious, you fit quite a lot of pedals in there, of course depending on your pedal choices and their sizes. Some minor blemishes on the outside finish, but this is supposed to be a tank, so for me it's a non-factor. Its supposed to protect my stuff, not look spotless. Inside foam is pretty standard I would say. Again for this price, what more do you need? Absolutely recommended!
