Good quality but stiff

My first impression of the cable is very positive. It is sturdy and well build. The transition point between cable and plug, which was a major issue on other cables seems absolutely solid.
However this ruggedness comes with a tradeoff, since the cable is pretty stiff. Although it is bendable and twistable it is hard to bend sideways since it is not round but obround (oval). It might stand up when mounted on pedals with connectors on the top and it also takes more space between pedals when compared with more flexible / thinner cables
In conclusion: if you need something durable this cable ist for you. If flexibility and very tight spacing is an issue look for something else.

At this time I cannot make judgement of the longterm durability.

While it seems like a great patch cable the strength of the wire is such that a strong U bend to connect side jacked pedals is not really possible. For top connections that require no bend this is perfect.
