Feels heavy for a simple knob but that's because it is made with a lot of metal. It needs to be heavy to be sturdy, as the design detailing would remove a lot of metal, possibly making it fragile. This one definitely doesn't feel fragile. The fitting on the pot shaft has a soft brass thin foil, which makes it really suitable for any kind of pot, independently of the small variations in shape, size and number of teeth that different pots have. You just tighten the set screw with the included wrench and it will fit very snug. Fit and finish are great, but it's not exactly cheap for a simple knob, but you gotta remember that this is a detailed and designed knob, and you gotta pay for that.
