Orange Rocker 15

I own a Rocker 30, which is just too loud for home use. I wanted an amp my son could use at home, and that could also be used in small concerts. This Rocker 15 ticks all the boxes. Headroom / bedroom mode is great. Clean channel is a bit lifeless at low volume, so needs a pedal - I'm using the MXR Timmy at the moment to add some sparkle. Cranked, the clean channel overdrives great. But really you buy it for the dirty channel. I put the gain at around 2 pm with my Strat and it roars. The amp has a lot of bass - this is fine with my Strat, but needs taming with a Gibson SG; I turn the bass and middle nearly all the way down with that guitar. The amp's construction is very good and feels very solid. Highly recommended.
