A frisson of excitement ran through my body when I gazed into the bottom of the Thomann shipping container and saw the Neutrik NV4 FD-L1 female panel-mount 4-pin connector peeking through the protective air-filled sacs. I quickly retrieved it and carried it over to the power supply that it was due to be installed in ? a hushed moment and ? yes ? the connector fit perfectly in the cutout I had painstakingly crafted earlier; Swiss engineering at its finest! The rest of the installation went smoothly: the rivets slid unhindered into the holes and, when riveted, sat flush in the perfectly machined Neutrik bevels; the connectors accepted my pre-tinned cables; the solder migrated quickly into the solder cups and a perfect electrical and mechanical connection was formed! And what a joy to use ? the 4-Pin male Neutrik connects perfectly with the NC4 FD-L1 ? the lock engages authoritatively and the plug feel is peerless, a solid weighty click and not a hint of play. Now my modular synthesisers have a new power supply with a dedicated custom multi-pin cable, thanks to Neutrik and Thomann!

I always use Neutrik connectors, this one I used for a Pedal Switch that I made for my Pedal Board to Switch Two Mesa Boogie V-Twin Tube Guitar Pedals from Clean to Solo (stereo set-up)..
