This product is not suited for the purpose it pretends to be. Already much to high (50mm) on start position and suspended about some 100mm. Conclusion; it is practically useless for 18" & 20" bass drums. Further; even when you wrench the threaded bolts very tight, risking hoop damage, it will move to inner direction toward the batter head. When you're not aware of that, it will damage the batter head.
Design need some improvement guys!

Ideal for rising a small bass drum so the beater strikes the centre of the drum. Works a treat!!

I use a 16", bass drum along with other percussion instruments to give a fuller sound, I have a modified bass pedal which didn't give the same feel as a full size one, so I bought this riser and it does the job perfectly, it's very strong and has very good adjustment overall. I made extension legs for the front of the drum and I can now use a proper pedal which makes a big difference. The stand is easy to adjust and is very strong, highly recommended.

voor de prijs is dit een stevig ding. Een beetje aanpassen naar gelang welke drum je hebt gaat er wel bij horen. Ik heb het gebruikt om een 16" basdrum te verhogen en heb een dik stuk rubber in de metalen spanring gelegd om de riser goed te kunnen aanspannen.
