This stand has everything, not only it is affordable and value for money, but it is sturdy (as long as you point the feet in the direction of weight) obviously, it has locks, you can choose between rubber etc etc, and while most companies have flag ship boom stands, and they are all great, there are three defining features about this boom stand that wins over every other company.
1. It is light weight, meaning it won't cripple your hardware box as you start to fill it up.
2. The wing nut can be locked and removed instantly with the touch of button, saving value seconds at set up.
3. It is impossible to close your fingers in the base of the stand when packing down.

Very nice stand, sturdy and heavy. Weird enough it is not extremely stable for its weight. One thing to point out though is the black handle on the top tilter with the cymbal bed needs to bite the teeth very good in order to tighten the tilter as if they slip they can be damaged easily and this part cannot be tightened anymore :| Otherwise very nice hardware.

Excellent service from Thomann as always. Received the item very quickly considering I live in rural Scotland. The best price I could find, easily better than anything I could find here. The stand is of excellent quality and does the job of holding a 20" crash cymbal with a double tom tom clamp attached to hold my 10" and 12" rack toms. I am planning to also attach another clamp with a short boom for a splash cymbal I intend to buy soon. So all in all very satisfied with my purchase and great service from Thomanns. Highly recommended.
