The guitar is an inspiratiion

This is an excellent instrument. I think it is the 7th strat i took in my hands. The best one. I like the combination mahogany rosewood. Workmaship is good. The neck feels smooth and no edges noticed on the fingerboard. The action is a bit high for my taste. The HSS pups are very balanced and their voicing in all possitiin are great. The trem system is unbelievable. Stays in tune very well.

Todella hyvä strato järkihintaan

Loistavan tuntoinen stratocaster suoraan laatikosta soitettavaksi. Kitara on hyvissä säädöissä heti alkuun, viimeistelyssä ei suurempaa valittamista (mitä nyt aivan pieni dingi sekä värieroa kaulassa, jotka huomaa vasta lähietäisyydellä tarkastellessa). Soundiltaan kitara ei jää ohueksi, ja humbucker tarjoaa monipuolisuutta. Myös vibrakampi toimii hienovaraisesti. Se ei ole perinteistä ruuvattavaa mallia, josta plussaa. Vireen kitara pitää yllättävän hyvin, vaikka kampea käyttäisi rajumminkin.

finitions magnifiques

Les finitions de la Larry Carlton S3 que j'ai reçue sont parfaites et pourtant je suis très exigeant sur ce point.
Bien sûr, comme sur toutes les guitares neuves, il a fallu faire quelques petits réglages, en particulier sur l'action et sur l'intonation, mais rien de difficile, même avec un vibrato flottant.
Cette guitare est très polyvalente et me permet une grande variété de sons différents : cela va du rock pur et dur grâce au humbucker qui envoie du lourd, jusqu'aux tonalités chaudes du jazz grâce au corps en acajou, à la touche palissandre et au micro manche (baisser un peu les potards de tonalité de la guitare et de l'ampli).
Personnellement j'ai remplacé les cordes d'origine par des Elixir Polyweb que je connais depuis des années et qui sont douces et silencieuses lors des démanchés, mais c'est peut-être juste une question de goût.
Bref, chacun y trouvera ce qu'il cherche et je ne regrette vraiment pas ma commande chez Thomann.

Hammer Strat für wenig Geld!

Wer eine Strat sucht die sogar Squier übertrifft und weniger kostet dann kann ich diese Larry Carlton S3 wärmstens empfehlen. Ist top verarbeiztet und klingt hammermässig!
