I put this set on my active 5 string bass, and sounds very beautiful. I was using elixir round wounds before, but now I will stay with the flats: the older the better sound! The bass now has more bottom end but still with definition, chords sounds very smooth and the low B is strong with character. I would buy it again if necessary!

La Bella what is there to say, excellence. The best flat wound on the market, I put these on my Sadowsky NYC and they are KILLING, even the gauge is perfect. The only string IMHO better was R.Cocco but Thomann stopped carrying them.

I never used before flat-wound strings and decided try La Bella.
La Bella didn't' disappoint me. Instead Im hooked up now to use only them. Great sound quality and very nice soft feel. Easy to play with them.
