I primarily produce pop music and am currently based in Africa. I was searching for a cost-effective library that could provide a variety of sounds, ranging from acoustic sampled instruments to synth sounds.
For the most part, this library meets those needs. The sample libraries of guitars, strings, brass, and many other acoustic instruments found within SampleTank are usable. While they may not be on par with more expensive dedicated libraries, they can effectively serve their purpose when used in the background. In simpler terms, the sounds from the SampleTank libraries offer the soundscape and quality of a modern keyboard workstation, but do not match the high-end VST instruments.
This library collection truly excels with the Modo Drums, Modo Bass, and Hammond B-3x plugins. These sound fantastic! They provide a significant amount of control over the sound, making it easy to dial in the perfect tone for your drums, bass guitar, or organ. I can't emphasize enough how impressive these sounds are. These alone for me make the bundle worthit.
Additionally, the effects and dynamic emulations of classic gear found in MixBox, T-Rack, Tonex, and Amplitude are invaluable resources for mixing, mastering, and shaping sounds. For guitarists, the latter two offer some of the best emulations of amplifiers, effects pedals, and tools for shaping guitar tones.
Overall, this library provides excellent value for your money. However, I do wish that the Pianoverse library was available under this bundle as that provides very authentic pianos than the ones in this bundle.
