Great service from Thomman as usual. Be aware that this cover does not fit a Gibson 57 classic pickup in the bridge position. To replace the 57 classics, you need two NECK position covers! I discovered this replacing the chrome covers on my 2007 335.
Great quality product.

Excellent cover, wrong spacing for my Gibson humbucker

I bought this for my les paul's 57 classic humbucker (bridge position) but it i didn't fit. Then I learned that not all Gibson pickups have different spacing between N and B.
It would be great to have the measurements on the description, so we know what we are buying.
Thomann was great and accepted the return. Now I have to wait for the other model to be in stock again

Perfect for Les Paul Studio Tribute

I covered my 2011 Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute Gold Top humbuckers. The Nickel color is the right one for this guitar, watchout you will have to "glue" those with a heating tool (don't know how this is called like), after taking out the coils (without removing the wires!), lots of tutorials available on youtube. The sound is slightly more toned down, less treble (very slightly).

Passt nicht auf Gibson 57 Classic und Plus

Wollte meine Gibson LP Less+ 2015 ein wenig verschönern weil die offenen Spulen sich meiner Meinung nach ein wenig mit restilichen Design beißen. Leider passen die Cover nicht auf die 57 Classic und die 57 Plus. Man kriegt sie zwar draufgesteckt, aber die Abstände zwischen den Polepieces sind zu groß so dass die äußeren zur Hälfte bedeckt sind.

Dazu kommt dass die Farbe meiner Meinung nach viel zu hell ist. Habe von Schaller Pickup-Cover in Hochglanz Chrom auf einer anderen Gitarre verbaut und diese hier sind genauso hell und hochglänzend. Woltle für meine Paula aber er was nicht so glänzendes und habe daher die Farbe Nickel gewählt weil die sonstigen Mechaniken auf der Gitarre ebenfalls die Farbe haben und es auf den Bildern stimmig aussah.
Beim auspacken fiel jedoch auf dass die Farbe der Cover deutlich heller ist als der restliche "Nickel" auf der Gitarre, trotz dass es der gleiche Hersteller ist. Habe extra die sehr teuren von Gibson gewählt weil ich glaubte dass sie dann perfekt passen und der Farbton der gleiche ist.

Schade, habe sie wieder zurückgeschickt und mich für welche von Goldö in "Vintage Nickel" entschieden. Mal sehen wie die aussehen...
